Nado Poizokhang is the oldest traditionally manufactured incense in Bhutan. These sticks are rolled with meticulous care following the tradition of Pema Karpo, the great Yogi of the Drukpa school. This incense contains about 100 different precious herbal ingredients including white and red sandalwood, benzoin gum, cloves, juniper, saffron and nard as well as many other herbs and blossoms. The sticks are pressed so firmly that no aroma is lost even over long periods. On the contrary – through a maturation process, they actually improve over time.
These assist in the processes of inner composure, focus and clarity while cleansing and elevating the spirit.
