It only grows in Ecuador and parts of Colombia and is particularly popular among connoisseurs due to its fine taste profile. The drops are ideal for making ceremonial cacao, as drinking chocolate or for baking, cooking and as a snack. The beans come from small farmers' cooperatives in Ecuador, where the cacao grows together with various fruit trees. This gives them their flowery, nutty taste - their fine acidity is reminiscent of mangoes and oranges. The drops are characterized by their particularly delicate melting texture. Their broad, chocolaty aroma profile has a pleasantly stimulating effect.
